_This series of portraits is not born from fan devotion, but from an artistic fascination with the faces of those who embodied a radical spirit. These are not tributes—they are studies. The chosen subjects, mostly rock icons from the '60s and '70s, are compelling not because of their fame, but because of what their faces hold: rebellion, creativity, vulnerability, and the will to disrupt.
Working on recurring figures, I explore the expressive range that can emerge from repetition. Each iteration shifts—sometimes subtly, sometimes drastically—revealing new tensions, gestures, and psychological nuances. Through minimal marks, fractured outlines, or raw textures, these portraits become mirrors of inner states rather than likenesses.
The result is not a gallery of idols, but a visual inquiry into what it means to carry intensity, defiance, and transformation on one's face._
